I just enjoy watching you do your stuff. Appreciate the way you explain your process and letting everybody know that it's your process not the only or totaly correct or totally wrong way to get to the desired outcome. You keep on making and splainin these video's, I'll keep on watching. Elwood
Excellent work. Love the fine stitch weld. When you grind it, you'll never even see the weld at all. And no warping. This is where a new welder will go mad and mess it up.
I remember Dad painting our '50 Ford pickup in an open air carport with a well used compressor and also he rebuilt the engine for a neighbors '59 Galaxie in an old garage with brick floors and no heat, you just have to make do😊
Nice work on the lower quarter repair. Do agree with ya about butt welding rather then overlap welding. Look forward to seeing the finished product. Be safe and stay well.
Looks good. I’m hoping I can build my garage this summer. But foundation on house comes first. Fix part of the wall change main beam and dig out add weeping then seal walls. For the garage I almost want to add a second level and a 9’x10’ pad to my 20’w x 21’d pad that’s there. Cause my dump truck will not fit in the garage if I have to work on it. It’s 23’. Tow truck I think would fit currently but no room. I want the 2nd level for part storage and work area. I just got a key programmer and will want a little area for key cutting which but will need to invest in that later. Want to get the adapters for OBD and different models and blank fobs. I have a key cutter for older style keys but can’t do newer and vw keys with it. Want to be able to start using it for programming to pay for the next investment. Hope I can get the permit for the 2nd level.
