You could well argue that the XK straight six lump is one of the best engines in automotive history.Lovely crackle and pop on the overun if you tune the carbs a bit rich.Proper boys own stuff.
I’m offering a 1953 Jaguar XK120 Drophead Coupe (DHC) right side drive, unchanged for the most part (other than painted and the addition of seatbelts), with only 13,519 original miles. Still in the original owner’s family. Excellent condition.
Nice video as always but difficult to understand because of the (awful) music. But in any case, this time I couldn't disagree more; the XK120 is the most beautiful but rather small inside (not enough leg room for anyone over 5' 8") which was solved with the XK140 which still had that classic body. The XK150 is a much less attractive halfway model somewhere between the 140 and mini Mk II. And it's definitely NOT the most valuable (at least not here in Europe) - that is still the XK120 in spite of its shortcomings.
Looks like an early alloy body one with its external side lights (?) I thought the steel ones all had faired in sidelights, my dad had a 120 drophead in the 70s,paid 300 quid for it (!)
