1952 Murphy Diesel Engine 

I worked for Murphy in the late '80's, early '90's. They had already been purchased by MWM, but were still in Milwaukee. I sold the last 6 cylinder Murphy made. A lot of them were used by Chicago Bridge & Iron as generator sets. They powered a bunch of AC welders on job sites. Rugged doesn't cover the way a Murphy was built & performed,

Interesting old engines. The brand is new to me, I doubt they were ever exported to Australia where I live.
