We finally found some bucket seats on Facebook Marketplace. There are a lot of seat on Marketplace, but, finding some that are almost new and manual with out a lot of electronics took 4 weeks of looking. What we found was 2018-2019 Ford F150 STX basic trim being sold by the original owner. Very comfortable and had all the Goldilocks features you would like in a seat. Amazing how they just fit perfect the existing 1954 factory rails and we will be able to pick up the existing mounting locations with some minor mods.
History - This was a project truck I bought off Facebook Market place. I watched it for 3 months and then went to look at it October 8th. The original owner of project passed away and family sold the project to me and my wife. My wife retired from school teaching only to be diagnosed with breast cancer. This project is the way to keep our minds off of cancer. We built a 1952 back in 2012 which is out their on You Tube. Love the one your with. We are looking at a 4 to 5 month completion.
