Nottingham B.M.O.C. member Bob Iliffe recorded some local Bond Minicar events in 1955 and then the 'All Britian Bond Minicar Rally' held in May 1956 at Morecambe. He was a very keen and active member in the mid 1950’s through to the early 1960’s.
His ciné film was copied into V.H.S. in the late 1980’s and the master tape has subsequently been used to transfer it into MP4 format.
The film content has been preserved exactly as it was originally taken and only a background soundtrack and occasional comments have been added.
Note: The original film was taken using a basic hand-held ciné camera of the time, and the frame jumps and film scratches are all faithfully reproduced here!
