This is a Century model, and only a little over 4000 were built. It's a pretty rare machine! The Century Model 69 Wagon was a Luxury Estate Wagon, 322 V8 Factory 4v, Dynaflow Twin Turbine transmission, a driver's dream car!

Very cool, original-looking old Buick. Looks like a well-preserved car that someone's grandfather might have driven on a fishing trip around 1969 or so, before '50s cars were considered collectable. My father was a "Buick Man" in the '50s---we had a 1953 Super 4-dr. sedan (1954-'59), a 1956 Special 2-dr. ht. (1959-'60) and a 1959 Invicta 4-dr. ht., "flat top" (1960-'64). All were smooth, powerful cars, especially the '59 (401/325), that rode like a jet pack-powered pillow! Best success with your Century; the video brought back some pleasant memories. Thank you.

I actually had this same exact car in my shop 2 weeks ago..based of the position of the horn button and the ripp on the interior grab handle and same bleed through on the fenders.

Love the driver's side below the SEAT Heater. Very early style of a heated seat, I noticed the hoses are connected and look to be in good shape. would be a real plus to get the fan motor working. very cool car.

Beautiful looking car. I've never seen a '55 Buick, let alone a 1955 Buick wagon. I hope you were able to sell it to a good owner. 🙂

Made in Flint, MI. Can't confuse this Fireball rumble with anything else. In 1955 they celebrated GM's 50 millionth vehicle. The parade took place in Flint, MI - Buick's original hometown. And today they don't have a clean water in Flint. Look at the Detroit! Oh boy! GM closed Ohio plant, Ford is going to fire 7000 people by August 2019 and million other things. How we ended up like this???
