Chris Craft had a factory adjacent to my elementary school in Salisbury, Maryland. This was in the mid-1950's ('55, '56, '57). Loved watching the boats go in and out of the factory yard in various stages of completion. Then see them completed, and loaded on trucks and trains. Magnificent motorboats. As they say, ''they don't make 'em like that anymore.''
That is the right attitude! I'm sure you will get the runabout of your dreams soon. I will tell you making your dreams come true is really worth it. I've been restoring my antique boat for the last five years and will finally get her in water this summer. It's my big dream coming true. :)
The forward view of front deck, windshield and dash so simple, exquisitlly clean lines, truly the best of yesteryear and today...thankyou for the ride...such a rare beauty
Thank you so much. I enjoy classic boating so much and I'm happy to be able to share even a part of the experience. I guess I need to make some new videos soon!
Are you restoring one? I wish you the best of luck with that and I hope you get her ready soon. I'm answering 7 months late so I might ask what is the current situation with it?
