Great job buddy and thank you for showing this installation I've looked everywhere on the internet and I cannot find a detailed installation like you did. I thought about going to that column but I wasn't sure without being able to see an installation so thank you for that my friend
Great Video as usual.. came at the right time as so want to add the tilt to my 57 Gasser. I’m kinda tall and the tilt would be perfect for me. Funny how you have to make sure the old steering rod and the column have to touch.. you would think that might cause a squeak as they run together.. oh well… I’ll be addin a Tilt soon! Thanks!!
Yeah Dave they don’t want you not have enough shaft in the coupler !! For you you might wanna see if you can gain a 1/2 inch and lower the column over the cluster more might make a little difference for u !! I set That at around an 1/8 but you can go more !!
I have an IDIDIT steering column and Raingear wipers to install on my 57 Belair. Would it be best to do them both at the same time by taking the old steering column out, installing the wipers and the install the steering column? Thanks.
Absolutely I would remove the steering column first and install wiper then the column. Ate you installing vintage air? If so the wiper ms the air then the column that’s for watching !
How many times does the column have to be taken out and back in when installing this product? Asking for a friend 🤣 nice work mate fitted properly and not just chinked in there 👍
