I thought you might like a look at this very nice 1958 Chevy Biscayne, from Country Classic Cars in Staunton. The paint is slick, the chrome is smooth, and it has a full new interior. It's still powered by the original Straight Six, backed by a 3 spd manual trans. You don't see too many of these anymore and this one is a nice solid example. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

I had the same car except in a 4 door in 1989. Easy to find in the parking lot.

I like this car, I drove one just like it (except 4 Door) to college. It was three on the column with an overdrive.

Hi Jeff, you know what I'm looking at here is the amount of upscale on the base model here. The amount of chrome, the pattern on the door panels and if the interior is original pattern that's not bad at all for the base model. This baby would be further dressed up with some styled wheels or wide whites and maybe some skirts. Not bad at all it's nice to see that someone cared for the base model and didn't junk it.

1958 Chevrolet Biscayne, like Delray has no options like radio deleted, 235 cu. in. 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed manual transmission, black wall tires, mini hub caps, standard brakes, standard steering, standard windows, manual operated seat adjuster, and for those who lives in the South with no winter, no heater. Air conditioning is also an option, but it is expensive.

My first car was a 58 Biscayne. The 58s drove better than the 55 through 57 cars, and rode nicely. My car also had the 6 cyl. with the 3 speed. That 6 cyl I had was considerably faster than some friends sixes, but it got 8 mpg! I had to replace all the ball joints twice in 8 months, that and 8 mpg made me trade it in for a 61 valiant which was a great car, just about bullet proof.

believe it or not old cars rock cause new cars now a days are being build in with too many electronics which is probably unnecessary

sad thing about this car is if someone sees you driving it they'll yell "HEY NICE BEL AIR" and it's going to get tedious pulling over and beating them with a softball bat.
