My Dad brought this car from my uncle for 400.00 in 1971 my brother and I took it to school one day and some of the kids yelled out,"Look it's the batmobile!" The kids back then didn't realize how iconic the car was My dad kept it for a few years and then sold it.

My dad bought a 59 right from the showroom floor. He told me that he paid extra to have A/C an it never worked from day 1. The dealership gave him the run around and never properly repaired it. He finally sold the car in 1966 for $80
