I am normally crazy about silver, but it looks good on this Fleetwood!

One of the greatest Cadillacs of all time! The faux side scops were only on those Fleetwoods. The '59s had those real space age afterburner tailights and those fully chromed tail fin scoops make it look light it is ready to float down the road. The dash lights look like they are from another era! Real American Chrome. Thank you for sharing!

In 1966 I had a 1959 Coupe deVille that was this same color; Starlite silver but with a dover white top and same interior color combination. I believe the pods on the outboard ends of the front bumper a made to emulate the dual jet engines such as those on the B 52 bomber. Since jet and rocket themes are the inspiration for this design, I think this would be logical.

My grandfather had a silver 60 4dr hardtop, not a deville but a 62 model. It had black and white cloth and vinyl interior. When I washed his car I used SOS soap pads to get the leaded premium gas stains off the fender! Luckily I didn't disturb the paint. It sure looked good!
