1960's Selmer Zodiac Twin Fifty (Mint Condition) 

Do you remember what it cost by chance?

I recall the Tele and the Zodiac Twin 50 cost similar amounts which is “interesting” considering I had to order the guitar for delivery from the States. One cost £105 and the other was £115 to the best of my recollection, but I can’t recall which was which. Frightening since I’ve seen an amp of similar vintage go for £4,500 now, and my Tele could fetch about £12,000 these days apparently.

There's a Selmer Constellation 60 selling here for $7500AUD now.

***** Nevermind folks....Looked up the schematic on this amp and saw that the blinking light is a simple neon tube.

cerberusnights I love that crashing reverb sound. Not good for the amp but it does sound great. haha. :)

@@thedavesimpson the voicing is different to other Brit amps but because of it's age resistors, caps will deteriorate ..the tone might change too..

Is your perspective of the Selmer and it's tones still the same? Or have you since warmed up to it and found it's sweet spots?

@@montag4516 the problem with old amps like that is every part is OLD . you would need to test every component in circuit and possibly replace. It does sound scratchy ..
