Yeah, I'm the 2 pair guy. lol

I'm the guy that wears a good pair of gloves for the job at hand, and has several others on standby for in foreseen jobs like grease or frozen steal too those grip gloves for fishing. I'm 56 and after a life of witnessing uncle's cousin s and even my older brother get their fingers and hands caught or cut off one way or another, mind you gloves may not have helped ,but I still have all of my digets and limbs and I've worked in mill's where I was in the machines that would take your arm regardless of what type of gloves I had on, but I've always had a pair of work gloves I my back pocket ,not in the truck or on the work bench or tool box , in my pants or jacket pocket ready for whatever type of work came my way,ibe had my own business in construction worked on many jobs and I could count on one hand the times I didn't have a pair of gloves in on my person. My brother most likely would never have cut his index finger off if he had been wearing a good pair of leather gloves, he may have lost his whole hand if he had been . Thing is he was careless, along with my uncle who lost his one finder or two in the sausage grinder,again not paying attention to his surroundings. My one cousin lost his arm in a farming incident with an auger, he was incredibly lucky he only lost his arm...that was from wearing loose fitting overalls. And well I've just grown up with the understanding that fingers and limbs don't grow back ,so we need to take care not to loose them in the first place. 🙄 that doesn't mean I haven't shot myself accidentally with a nail gun twice once when I was first starting out working at a truss shop, and another later in life doing renovation work building a wall. Both were fairly miner ,no real permanent damage, both times the 3" air nailer shot through the wood and into my fingers. And no neither times was I wearing gloves., Lol. My point is even when a guy is 90% careful He can still get into an accident. I wear saftey glasses all of the time,even when doing groceries 😊
