I’ve got a Rosso Corsa manual 360 Spider that I absolutely love. But this California is my favourite car design ever. If I won a lottery, I’d start hunting for one immediately.
My dad had a Ferrari 250 in the 70's. It had a dent in the front fender, which he corrected with a hammer and some bondo. Sold it later for a few thousand dollars. Too bad he didnt keep it :P
why manufacturers didn't try to recreate such beautiful lines in modern cars ? for me the late 50's mid 60's were the best era in terms of automotive design, alfa romeo did with it's 8 c competizione inspired by the 67 alfa 33 stradale
this goes at the second position when i saw the'' Jaguar Speedster Eagle''...i'm a great fan of ferrari but that car is perfect the best looking car ever made for me
I've never had as much fun in a convertible 1962 Ferrari California Spyder, as I did on a Big Wheel that cost much less than 4.6 million dollars, back when I was 5 or 6 years of age... of course, I've never driven a 1962 Ferrari... I think the winning bidder made two decisions simultaneously... to make that final bid & get divorced from his wife... he's going to have to "trim the fat" & make up the difference somewhere Oh well, certainly she doesn't still look as good as she did in 1962
With a car like that and after you spend so much money there is not peace of mind because you always afraid something happen or maybe an idiot scratch it on a car park ,unless you keep it in a museum but than you would not be able to enjoy it
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one station per city. :-(
