Mine came with the 340 and a four speed,never had a V8 before but I learned pretty quick!

I used to buy up non running darts and valiants back in the 80s fix the engines usually a burnt valve and sell them for a grand was easy $ back then.

I just towed my 64 to the mechanic today. Time to get her back on the road. Can't wait to cruise the around in her

In Canada, we did not get the Dart until 65. What we did get in 63 and 64 was the Plymouth Valiant. Thing is, out Valiant had the Dart body with Valiant front clip. When we did get the Dart, Valiant moved to match the American model, on its smaller wheelbase. A lot of sales went to Dart, as Valiant was that bit too small, and looked it. That is the reason my folks bought a new 72 Dart. With 3 of us over 6 foot, the extra rear seat room was important.
