Very very nicely done, fellows! These were sides A and B on the very first Beatles record, a Parlophone label 45 rpm single, that I bought. I was delighted when I got home, listened to the record for the first time, & discovered that I loved both Beatle recordings!

Mark Benson as John Lennon, he´s the best. I never seen another "John" who recreates the pose of John in so realistic and natural way

I saw 1964 in concert several times twice when Gary Grimes was still alive & playing Sir Paul. They are truly one of the best Beatle Tribute Bands around & Gary Grimes is truly missed by his fans of which I'm one. R.I.P Gary.Critty200

I heard this band about 6 or 7 years ago at Three Little Bakers dinner show in Delaware. They are very good, and so is The Fab Four, but if you want to here the best, listen to the Manoney Bros on Utube, also known as longlivethebeatles, longest running Beatleimitator bands, since 1975.

Who wouldn't enjoy the originals more? We are talking about a tribute here, not some group trying to replace the original.

@nyerndc The Beatles were great in concert considering the technology of the time. They had inadequate PA systems and no monitors. I saw them live ten times between 1963-1966 and the worst conditions were at Wembley where I saw them three times. There just the four of them with 100 watt amplifiers that were not miked up. The PA was the house PA they used for the ice shows with speakers only in the ceiling and 10,000 girls screaming. No wonder they got pissed off and gave up performing live.

@nyerndc They generated the most fantastic atmosphere in their live concerts and thats what live concerts are all about. And then in the studio they were streets ahead of everybody. you are probably referring to the crummy equipment they had to use and then the sound of screaming which was louder than them. Not easy to sing and play with that against you. I still love listening to them live - even the hamburg stuff is just full of energy.

We saw them in person years ago. They are good. You have to have the lefty bass player to make it.

@MOSFET2288 Saw the fab four mania, sep of 2006, vegas, GREAT. Dont look for them now tho, that group is not the same members. I knew this was something out of this world so I wwent back the next day for another 65.00 i would have paid 165.00

The Analogues are the BEST tribute band.

They're just playing the songs, The Beatles rocked them, played them faster and with more rock and roll power!

I/2 step lower than the Beatles recording. Lacking in power. Beatles never used a harmonica when they played this song live because when the rhythm guitar (John character) stops playing in order to blow on the harp, the music sounds weak & hollow. Same for Thank You Girl.

Wholly cow people, these imitator bands are not trying to be the Beatles, most of them just love the Beatles and are honoring them, by doing their songs. Of course no band is going to sound and look exactly like the Beatles, but some of them, such as The Mahoney Brothers, I can not tell the difference, and I have seen the 1964 Tribute Band and Mahoney's live. Have seen The Fab Four on Utube only, all 3 are great, but the Mahney's are best.

Listen to the Beatles do "Slowdown" first, and then watch the Mahoney Brothres do "Slowdown", and if you want to be honest, there is no way anyone can tell the difference. In fact, Dick Clark once said about them, "Amazing, I actually thought they were lip-synching". Go to their site, and you will see similar comments from many others.

Sorry, have to disagree. I've seen nearly all of The Beatles tribute bands and The Fab Four are without doubt THE best. Way ahead of any others

Too slow

The Fab Four are not nearly as good vocally, and a right handed Paul just kills it visually.
