I am a testament to John’s good draw of unbelievable like new Corvair’s. I wish I could post pictures because pictures are worth a thousand words/dollars. Trust John, and you won’t be sorry!
Wow, what a beautiful example of a 65 Corvair. That engine bay is incredible! I live in East Bridgewater right next door and I really wish I could afford it because I would enjoy driving it on day one. Congratulations to whoever becomes the next owner!
She is a beauty ! I wish it it had the optional clock, & 2 speed wipers. That being said another feature that was on the 65's & exclusive to 65's are the taillights; They look so much better looking than the 66 thru 69's. I hope to see a 65 thru 67 Monza Sport Sedan here on Orphan Car Garage. Thanks for sharing this beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Coupe with us. She'll go quick.
@@orphancargarage5746 I saw 2 up for sale in this months Corsa Communique. Both appear to be in really good condition; One was a 66, & the other a last year model 67 fully optioned with even the 4 speed; What a beauty. Both seemed reasonably priced IMHO.
Should really put seat belts in the back. As is, this asks back seat passengers to assume a huge risk. Look up the term back 'seat bullet'. An extremely fast and easy way to severe bodily injury or death. Happens more than you might imagine. A couple of name drops? American historian Davis Halberstam, and Diana Frances Spencer (yes, her). Physics does not care what or who you are. A bag of groceries or the person you love the most. Buckle Up!!! Oh, i owned this same `65 model for 18 years and put rear belts in asap. And put retractable shoulder belts in the front. Priceless peace of mind.
That is one beautiful Corvair Monza. Love the color. The wire wheel covers really add style to the car and were very desirable at the time (though having owned a car with them, they were popular with theives).
