The action looks incredibly high!

The action is exactly where the customer requested. Buttery smooth to play and perfectly in tune from the first fret to the last. Most people get confused on the fact that the " action " is not the distance from the string to the wood of the fingerboard. It is the distance from the string to the top of the fret crown. This customer does NOT like the action too close. Much like Jeff Beck .... the action should be set to allow you to "dig-in" and really get a grip on the string for those bends / hammer-ons / vibrato / pull-offs and all of the fingerboard gymnastics that commonly come into play. Once the action has been set to the customers' preference, THEN all of the other adjustments will follow suite.

Not to take away anything from your own creativity, but that's an amazing Vini Riley impression...sans his signature effects, of course...
