Brother, its evident that you are a person who likes driving a car that has more for driving attributes than features. But sadly 90 percent of people are not bothered about driving dynamics and are interested in features and gizmos. Manufacturers have started to move to the mass sentiment and are less bothered about driver centric cars. Yes, with newer Multijet engine, gearbox , AC, ABS, Airbags this would have done a Beetle for FIAT✌️
It's impossible because direct fiat brand cars are withdrawn from Indian market our people are more likely to see only eye catching gimmick not like to drive friendly vehicle. But still market leading brands are using fiat engine that company are just making the shell with their logo.

Brother, regarding the Fiat its is drivable in Current traffic conditions since the steering seems to be like a modern Power Steering and the gearbox is easy to operate and the vehicle dimension is also small. But the brake is the area of concern due to the old Drum type. Ya Classic cars can be legally kept and driven with proper FC. But post BS6 norms new policies are awaited. Classics can be maintained for some shows only it seems.
