When I was little my parents had a ‘65 T-bird identical to yours. They loved that car. It was the gold standard which they compared all their other cars to.
I noticed the back-up lights came on for a split second while he was shifting it, then were out for the rest of the time. Or maybe it wasn't in reverse.
My grandpaws was hit hard the third day he had his '65 T-Bird, it ligit took a parts shop 4 months to FIND a new fender ONLINE, LET ALONE THE SHIPPIN TIME, I'm glad as hell that car is so tough that if you hit someone head on the thunderbirds nose would pretty much split the other car in half and kill the other people

how much is this car worth?there's a '65 t-bird exactly like this one(where i live) except for the landau bars.It has the 390 and it looks brand new.He is asking 9500 and i'm wondering if that's a good price,it seems to me it is,but i don't what these 64-66 t-birds are worth.
It's a rare car, and my grandpaw bought his in almost perfect condition, the only flaw was the rag roof was torn up, but it also has the 390 big block V8, a 4spd automatic, I think an azure blue interior with chrome, the heat bar lookin speedo, and all white in the outside, in fact as far as I can tell from how far I am into the video, nothin is diffrent from that one and my grandpaws, besides the collectors front "a touch of class" with a rose plate on the front of grandpaws, so I'd say go for it
catcomet Typical for those! Those swing away steering wheels and auto release emergency brakes were nothing but trouble! Impossible to adjust correctly. They would jump out of gear and take off in reverse!
What a ridiculous video. 90% of it covers a car that isn't yours and a Porsche that has a dead battery. Why didn't you focus on all the cool features of this T Bird that caused you to purchase it and pay to have it shipped in a closed transport. I payed to have my 2019 C7 Grand Sport shipped from Tennessee to Oregon. I didn't make a video on RU-vid but I can assure you I would have featured the car of my dreams if I did.
