The British automobile design studios put out some very beautiful work, but nothing beats the sheer stateliness of the 1960s Rolls Royces. That big radiator grill leaves no doubt as to what kind of a car it is.
Beautiful Car. Brings back memories when I worked for Rolls Royce in Sydney, Australia. At the time I was keen on the Shadows but now I can't stop admiring the Cloud. Especially the Cloud3.
I had a Very RARE American delivered S3 Bentley with Radford Adaptation. Very pristine car and one that I would have NEVER allowed keys dangling from the ignition to rub against the finely finished wood dash.
Magnifique Rolls qui fait rêver dans l'art de vivre toute les belles choses du monde. Félicitation pour le garage il est digne pour loger cette Rolls, Roys le propriétaire a le goût de la perfection. Respect et longue vie pour des jours heureux.
I love Rolls-Royce automobiles my only complaint(just a personal pet peave) is the RR's everywhere, only the grill please, everyone knows what it is. I just saw the new Wraith, absolutely gorgeous.
Excuse me but Do you have any grey poupon mustard….but of course…lol stunning car I personally like Bentley as it’s more driver focused but 1960’s RR’s are the pinnacle of class.
In that early series he used a 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 11 - actually there were two identical Rolls Royces used. In the revised 1980's series Gene Barry used his own 1960's Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 11 in the show. I BLAME HIM FOR MY CURRENT ADDICTION TO ROLLS ROYCES!!! Oh yeah, and beautiful women, too!
I believe the Rear Axles for this year and model Rolls Royce were manufactured at the GM of Canada - Axle Plant - Ontario Street in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada Mr. Blair M. Phillips Retired GM of Canada employee St. catharines
@Mitzi Rascal Whitworths are a standard or tools/wrenches that is not exactly 'standard', and not exactly 'metric' developed and used primarily in Great Britain. A Whitworth "half inch" and a standard "half inch" are not the same. You can use substitutes, but the chances are they are just off enough to increase the likelihood of rounding off a bolt. . .
@@bradhobbs6196:... crumbs! Whitworth! Haven't heard that name in 20 years! Had to fully valet an old car (not a Roller, an Armstrong Siddley) and had to use a "Whitworth half-inch" to remove fixtures to access parts of the bodywork. My own tools "just wouldn't do!" unsurprisingly, the Whitworths belonged to the beautiful mid chocolate-brown masterpiece's owner.
Sorry but this is a 1963 or 1964, only subtle changes in these model two years but the 1965 had straighter fender lines as they did away with the curved Fenders.
A proper Rolls Royce, made for Gentlemen not gangsters and pimps. Can I make a suggestion people with flash cars and yachts utilise them in a way as to raise money for the poor, the widow and orphanages as recommended in Isaiah . Organise events where people can go for a ride around the block or race circuit, include everyone, those that can pay can chip in to raise funds, those that are less well of can go first for free or via a free lucky dip or well off can purchase a ticket for the less well off. The money raised goes to good causes as specified above. The stock exchanges of the world could be put to better use too making sure liquidity is better utilised and more appropriately dispersed thus avoiding the vagaries of asset bubbles without short selling stock.
@@mr.toobigformypants8145 Thank you , I can only do so much, is up to people with flash cars and yachts to organise with the church or with various charities.
The music is not inappropriate at all! It starts a bit too loudly, but it's "Music To Watch Girls By," from 1967, so it's absolutely "of the era" What's your issue!??
@@pierregagnon589 Likewise!! I love it - both the car and the music. My friend has a 1963 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 111 and he allows me to drive it - often. Yes, I'm nervous when I drive it but the owner says "You can go a little faster if you like, it's a 6.23 litre V8 engine!". The same applies with his 1974 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow!
