Awesome vid! That was super interesting - also very cool that this was the first street car with "racing" stripes. Looking forward to more of your content on here.

That GT 350 is Missing the drivers door Outside Bullet Mirror and the Side EXIT exhaust pipes .

The '65s did not come with side mirrors, many were added on by early owners or dealerships. Some (very few) late production cars came with the rear exiting exhaust. This is a late one.

yes he does. We had a lot of fun. And he does indeed like to burn rubber in everything he owns. (Experience speaking there...)

Should have Antitorque Inverted traction bars as well as Repositioned Upper control arms lowered 1 Inch and Front fender cross support strut . Modified Steering arm for quicker steering . The car actually sits 1 Inch lower in the front due to change of control arms . Koni adjustable shocks all around and 4 Goodyear BLUE DOT 15 inch Tires . No rear seat , just a platform .Quick release Aircraft Type seat belts . Cobra wood rimed steering wheel .This car also has the Optional Mag style Wheels . Also a 1 INCH dia front stabilizer Bar should have . All 1965 GT350s were White with Blue side stripes .The LeMans Stripes were Optional . I owned one Without the LeMans Stripes ,only had the Blue GT350 side stripes . I later added the LeMans Stripes . The 1965s were all hand built and assembled by Shelby American at the Venice location . These cars are the ONLY Truly 100% Shelby American Production versions . Only 530 some ever built . All Prior years were only partially built by Shelby . Ford Motor company was involved in the assembly of the 1966 cars and all of those that followed . Great CAR Enjoy !

I’m def no expert, but I am restoring a ‘64 (trying for a Terlingua Shelby Coupe), and I’ve done a shit-ton of research. I could be wrong, but shouldn’t a gt350 have a roll bar? (I’m prob wrong, I usually am)
@WinstonGoodfellow

Steve-a good geeky question. I believe it was only the GT350R's that had a roll bar.

@@WinstonGoodfellow The black California plate beginning with the letter 'S' came out for the 1966 cars only. I wonder what the first year history on this car was as it should have had a beginning letter 'O' 'P' or 'Q' for 1965.

I thought 1965 Shelby GT350 had side pipes,only year

my late production 65 GT350 came with exhausts out the back, chambered exhaust pipes, plexiglass side windows, remote trunk lid latch, one piece fiberglass deck lid with spoiler, 48ida webers, functional side brake scoops. later found out it was a projet car for the mechanics to try out new ideas mostly found later on the 66 GT350.

Thank you for your interest in our videos. A lot of your suggestions have already been implemented in upcoming videos. And agreed on "your reviews." Nice term, and thanks again for your interest.
