Learn how to cut off the roof of a coupe including the pieces that are different from a coupe to a fastback. Also prepare the car for the fastback donor roof.
I think this guy knows his stuff as far as a body man. I have messed with mustangs and mid year corvettes for the past 40 plus years. I wouldn't mind swapping a coupe to a fastback. I know where there is a decent roof off a fastback. I have no idea of where the rest of the fastback body went nor do I care. The swap makes the new fastback car when completed not worth the $$$$ that a real fastback is worth but if you went with coil over front suspension and rack and pinon steering plus other custom items like bucket seats you could end up with a really cool fastback that would bring some decent cash for the right buyer. Great job of the two video's. Thanks for sharing your knowledge..
I have caught up to you doing my conversion. Just haven't did final cuts on roof and body. I was hoping that you would post to next stuff (fitting and welding). The way your fitting the roof to the body is to make the grinding and filling less work for your self I think. Please post more video its so very help full. Thanks gary
how you doing? I just bought a fastback roof for my 65 coupe. Are you going to post of the fitting and welding of the roof on soon? Hope you do soon, so far i have started to remove the coupe roof.
