It's a tale of a teenage wish finally coming true. Everett A. Pierce Jr. of Gaylordsville, CT wanted a Dodge Charger back when he was a teenager, but his dad blocked a deal. He finally landed one in December 2015 - a bright red 1966 model. He takes it out on the road in this RIDE-CT video. To learn more about the Charger, visit classiccars.ride-ct.com.

My dad bought a '66 Charger in 1968 when I was 16. It was a 383, 4V, Torqueflite, silver with red interior. But it was Mom's car! I got to drive on special occasions. It would pass everything except a gas station!

I just turned 62 in January last year in May I finally bought a 67 Charger with 383 four barrel !. OMG! I totally love it ❤and love driving it around in the summer ( it's my BABY)
