hey uncle mike i own a 66c10 with a 350 corvette engine and ia 2 speed powerglide although mine is a longbed fleetline .its the third 66 that i have had.my other two were short bed stepsides like yours.ILIKE THE LOOKS OF THATWOOD IN THE BED.mine is all rotten and needs to be replaced .OH and i also have a black 2009 xl 1200 custom,so it seems to me we have a couple things in common.Im going to watch your you tube replacement video right now

Sounds good. I’ve always been a fan of the Delta 40 series Flowmaster on 350/5.7L. Both my 65 and my 66 c10 had flows.

Like the new sound. Sounds smooth. Got rid of the clacking diesel sounds lol. When you showed the welds off the old exhausts I busted up laughing. 😂 Unmelted wire... awful.

Sounds more like a late model mustang or Camaro. I'm not really a fan of it. I liked the original one better. But hey it's your truck. I also would of put different mufflers if it was mine.

Man that new muffler setup sounds much better then before. Does it still have comparable drone to the old exhaust setup, or would you say less?

What are your wheel and tire specs offset size backspace sweet ride

What fuel tank is that? What trans crossmember and eng. Mounts did you use?

Which way are the louvers in the muffler facing on this install?

You don't want to fill that old filler neck hole just to keep rain out? Keep it from rusting more? I'd at least put a factory filler neck in there with a gasket to stop rain.
