People laugh and shit about the 1966 batman version.. I personally think it’s awesome There are things that don’t work but a lot of it does/did at the time There are elements of the show that work for a modern-serious take on batman For example the Lego 1966style batcave works as a normal batcave
Hi Brian, That is one very impressive collection you have , in a word AWESOME !!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us , I'm so glad I got to see them I watched the 1966 show all the time as a kid and still love it. Take care, Jeff
Great collection and presentation, thank you for sharing. Good memories of the show, I have been able to get the DVD TV series and movie sets, and some of the Mego like figures.
Very nice collection, thanks for sharing. I remember tv ads for the BATMAN playset where a guy would describe each piece and say " in plastic" needless to say I wanted but never got the set .
I have all these batman 1966 figures from mattel and neca and it looks amazing once its all set up next to each other. I also have some signed photos BUT my most valuable is a signed Villians cast photo on one photo with burgess meredith..cesar romer..frank gorshin and julie newmar.
Nice Batman collection I saw you had the Mattel figures with the Batmobile and I notice to figures you didn't have and I didn't know they existed either do I was on eBay and saw them but apparently they did it King Tut and mr. Freeze the 1966 that series I figures you have now just wanted to give you a heads up didn't know if you knew about those two figures because I sure didn't know about them again nice collection
maddwoba Thanks! I thought you'd be surprised. Ha, ha. I didn't know it was so easy... at least to do something off-the-cuff without title screens, etc. So, I'm hoping to do a lot more.
Talk about 'BAT-ASS' cool!!! I have just about all these 1966 Batman figures/collectables but still have my Hot Toys and 24" NECA figures in the boxes....this is a great way to set them up....especially with the movie poster behind the Hot Toys figures and the way you have all the villians in front of the Mattel Batmobile!!! Now that I saw this video...I gotta get the talking batman and robin plush figures and the bobble heads. I just got my DC 'Animated Batmobile' that lights up and all the villians from that line....and that car alone is HUGEEE!! I recommend you getting the small MEZCO 66 Batmobile with figures...along with the Mattel 'COWL' AND 'UTILITY BELT'.....1966 Batman stuff will always impress anyone!
+TOYMASTERFUL Thanks! Thanks for the recommendations. I almost jumped on the cowl and utility belt on Black Friday but decided against it with gifts to buy. I'd also love to have the Tweeterhead 66 statues but I'm more of a "toy" guy and can't justify spending that much on each statue. Plus, that line looks to be one that will continue for awhile.
I thought your collection was focused and fabulous! I noticed that your channel is called "The Sentinel 3000". Now I remember that Britt Reid's newspaper was called "The Sentinel" Are you also a Hornet fan? And, Why the 3000? Are you hoping to preserve it into the 31st century? Also, I remember that Batman was in Gotham. I was trying to remember what city was The Green Hornet working in? Couldn't find the answer in Google. Do you perchance remember? Safety and Sanitize! Have fun with your toys!!!
Very cool collection but you are missing some very important pieces to it. Where are all of the hand sculpted figurines made by the Tweeter head company? I have purchased all of them and they are by far the most accurate and most authentic likenesses of any Batman 1966 figures on the market. You should definitely look into investing in the complete collection. I highly recommend it.
Thanks for watching! Yes, I still collect Batman stuff but more slowly, these days. I’m out of room. Ha ha. I have seen the JL 1/6 from Jazzinc in videos but not the 66. Either one would be amazing to have. (This reply may show up from another YT account of mine)
