Hi my name is Katarina, I'm 28, and I'm an avid car enthusiast. I own a 1981 ford mustang. My 81 is a pretty much base notchback with the 200 inline 6 that has a bunch of mods including a t5 manual, 8.8 with 3.55s and a lsd, and a bunch more. Plus a 1981 Mercury Capri 200 inline 6 4 speed SROD. I pretty much live and breathe vehicles. Everything from muscle, imports, trucks, modern, old take your pick. I know a ton about cars due to a ton of research and working on the cars that I have.

Great project car for someone, it’s seams to be complete, should have a better look at the floors & trunk, priced at $2K, it’s a little steep, it’s just a Newport sedan, not a New Yorker or 300 hardtop. …… NEXT!

I love these cars, i think it is awesome when i see them. Oh, i watched some of your video on the 81 mustang, you are smart, and you are correct in how little things like weight/ gear ratios help with performance

@@KatarinasGarage the 200 6 is very durable for that kind of racing, you are correct in shifting sub 4500, no reason to Rev it too much. Maybe a 302 4 barell

Modding a skirt and with a locked up and engine? $2000 is nuts! Trust me . I own seven c bodies. Maybe $800.

@MrMongo107 Depends honestly. This car has a fantastic body on it. And once it is a running a driving vehicle it would be in the 7000 ish zone give or take. It also depends where you are.

@@garyrunyon6294 it's a four door with a frozen engine and no skirt on the passenger side of the car, and a shredded interior.. my first offer would be scrap value. Maybe a little more because I happen to have a spare engine and transmission, which we also know nothing about. 1979 my fat ass.

@@garyrunyon6294 ?????! You mean I'm sitting on $10,000? Hot damn. It's frozen! It's a boat anchor it will need probably $1000 in machine work, and new pistons and a new cam and lifters...
