Welcome back for the third installment of my Matchbox Lesney year-by-year review of every diecast collectible vehicle sold in 1967, with a comparison of what changed from the offerings of 1966. This is video covers all castings new for 1967 and also any vehicles that experienced a paint change and even a minor variation. Instrumental in procuring all of the toy cars and trucks in my vast personal collection are the original Matchbox Catalogue's printed in full color artwork for each year of the models seen in this, Episode 3.
Highlights in this episode are four very cool Super Kings, including the Hatra Tractor Shovel, Dodge D-Series truck with horse trailer (Horse-box), Models of Yesteryear, and many new castings in the 1-75 Series Matchbox collection of 1967. Some of the very notable new models were the 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback with real steering wheels, Greyhound Bus, Caravan Trailer, Standard Jeep CJ5, the little blue boat, Safari Land-Rover recolor, Mobile Ice-cream Shop, and the Ferrari Berlinetta.
