Every great home needs a foundation. If you're lucky and get a seat that has not been recovered before.....take it apart carefully, documenting everything in place. Hog ring placement and frame covering material to the OEM standard. good quality burlap and felt for the corners and edges. I have seen literally 50 vids from various folks skipping so many steps just to get the foam in and the seat cover on the frame .... and it looks fine......but it want last a season without the needed backing and lift wires. This is a great vid for the average install.

Eastwood rust encapsulator black spray paint. Don't go cheap, rust will bleed thru if you do

What about the burlap? How is foam held in place? You sure skipped a lot of steps.

Do you have experience reupholstering the backseat of a 1967 convertible convertible?

I don’t think it’s a good idea to show how to install these seats this way. You skipped many steps and the overall look is very unoriginal!
