check timing , change points, distributor cap , condenser,rotor

The engine is backfiring

This is an old video. I’m sure that the problem has been resolved, but it’s clearly an intake leak. My guess would be between the manifold and the head.

Mines doing the same, after i tryd to put a new carbe. O didnt change the gasket. Im guessn its that

The poor engine is very old needs a new stronger engine in it he's reving to hard

Try tightening the other side too maybe ut fixes the residual issues

Try more and more to be come good
