I have that exact same amp. A guy brought it to me for the exact same service that you did. I fixed it Basically, I got it for the price of the parts that it took to fix it. That was 12 years ago. It's the "Go to" amp for country, surf, R&B, and jangly pop. It excels with Telecasters and Gretsches. I want to try a Rickenbacker on it if I can find one. Not gonna flip This one's a keeper
I used to abuse the heck out of my 1968 Band Master half stack with volume & distortion and it never gave me an ounce of problems over a 12 year span. I sure miss that puppy. I sold it, like an idiot.
Hi, I have a question if you could help me out. I have bought the bandmaster head and I wonder if it would be ok to run it through a 16 ohm speaker. I think the amp is supposed to run at 4 ohm .
@@65Corvette Thank you for your kind help . I searched around the internet and I guess that all the bandmaster head versions run at 4 ohm. I am thinking of a 1x12 speaker.. do you think that a single 12 inch would suck ?
