I finally get all the parts needed to make Ole Puddin faster and weak less. The 1968 Ford F100 truly needed to have a 4-barrel and it needs some maintenance. This truck started at the Family Graveyard and now it hauls the family around. Will this be a straight forward install? Fords are never straight forward. The issues start early and stay until the last day. But oh she is surely fun now... What do you think of the finished product? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.

Glad to see you gave Ole Puddin the maintenance it needs and yes indeed you sure made it run better. You did some really fine work for a Pastor. Oh and thank you for your prayers had my second monthly Chemo Therapy treatments and its working. My white cell count dropped to normal. my serum protein level is returning to normal my Uric Acid level is normal basically everything that was bad is going to the good side. Four more monthly treatments and the Oncologist says I should be Free of the B-Cell Lymphoma Leukemia.

I got an old 83 Ford F-150, 300 straight 6 cylinder. Love's it's gas, but can't stop it. I haven't messed with it in 3 years, hooked up a good battery, and put a small gas tank in it, because that's why it was sitting, gas tank got a hole in it, but got it started, didn't run the best, but I figured it wouldn't. Well got it 2 miles down the way to my shop, and I shut it off, and as I was looking under the hood seen smoke coming out from under the carb, I grabbed it, and it pulled off in my hands. So that truck started and ran with no nuts, or bolt holding it on. Suction must have been the only thing holding it on. Lordy lordy, what a Ford.

Greetings from Scotland Rev, That was a great job you did there. The engine looks and sounds perfect. I love the sound of the old V8’s, especially in the American vehicles. You had your work cut out for you there, and along with your ‘day job’ I’m sure it was hard going, and probably a little frustrating at times. I look forward to yo posting new videos with the ol’ man and regardless of the vehicle involved I enjoy what you do. If I’m honest though, I have a soft spot for the American trucks. Keep on keeping on David…. Good bless ya & your family.

Every time a Ford waterpump bolt breaks, the first one to go, is that upper driverside one. My 89' Grand marquis with the 5.0 did the same thing trying to come out. 1/4 drill bit in the housing, drilling 3 holes. Slapped on the vice grips, and lubed it up in the holes. Tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten then loosened it right out. Replaced the innered, and slapped it back together. That upper hole isn't a water jacket, so the hole didn't matter. JB weld, and away I went.

My first car was a 65 Ranchero, that we pulled the inline 6 out of, built a 289 for. We had the same issue with a 4100 Autolite, Dad rebuilt it multiple times and never could get it to run right, he ended up going and buying a new Holley 4BBL for it. I think that carburetor was just worn out.
