Which transmission do you have in that van? In 69 the 3-speed TH350 was an optional upgrade to the 2-speed Powerglide. I have a 7004r that I am getting ready to put into my 67 G20 with a rebuilt 327 and front disc brake conversion.

Better shim that starter before the flywheel teeth are gone
