Hi Nick and George, I've been waiting for the 500's return to Nick's Garage, awesome, here we go!!!

With this voice Nick sure sounds like an 80s revenge movie star. Especially driving a muscle car, and doing lines as "I had no choice", "I have to get the car back" or "I really wanted to go back to this job" ;))

An awe moment! 1969 Dodge Charger 500 restored and an old friend lived through cancer and came back for his engine!😁❤ I pray you don't have throat cancer, Nick! God Bless!

That was an emotional rollercoaster, and I'll admit I started to tear up when Luke walked towards his engine. I cant imagine how Luke and Bobo feel coming back after two hard years.

I've watched this,from day 1,and it's such a beautiful car,...and coming from a Chevy man ..that's SOMETHING! Lucas,I pray God will be with you ,and your family,and you continue to do well !

What a STELLAR video!!!! That Charger 500 is just gorgeous: Roger did a FANTASTIC job with it: I know Nick will knock that misfire out pronto and the beast will be back to its ferocious best in no time. I listened to Lucas’s story with great amazement as he described his ordeal and I’m thankful to the Lord for bringing him back from what must have seemed like certain death. I had a chance to talk to him at Carlisle and he was wonderful to talk with!!! Luke, SO GLAD you’re back, and God bless you even the more!!!! Holy smokes!! Glad Luke is doing better. After what he has been thru I think I would cry just waking up every day. That is one heck of a battle and thank God he found a doctor smart enough to figure out the problem before it was too late.

I see a lot of Charger, Charger, pickup, Charger comments..... THE VEGA!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL tribute car.

What an episode! First, we get the joy of seeing Eugenes awesome Charger 500 getting close to the finish line, then we get the extra special joy of Lukes story and him still being with us!! Love the Fleetline dodge trucks. My '69 D-200 383 would fit right in with them. My dad bought the truck used in 1970, I took it over when he passed in '95. I turn 65 tomorrow and think I'll take it out for a spin. The truck is 53 years old and still going strong!

Nice to see the Charger 500 is only days away from delivery and so wonderful that Luke was able to make the trip to your shop.

That 500 simply pops in the sun light, man Rodger did an outstanding job on the body and paint, liked his trailer to along with his 71 pick up a real beaut ride. It's so sad to hear about how terrible our Canadian medical system is while our govt tells us it is the best in the world. I'm really happy for Luke. I had to go to the states for my surgery or the system would have let me die rather than help me so I know he was telling the truth. All the best to him.

Wow as soon as I saw the paint job on Roger's Vega I thought it was a Motion car. I remember the advertisements in the old car magazines for Motion products. I had a 1971 Dodge D100 with a 318. I bought it from an old farmer. He was hauling grain from the local feed mill and the timing chain broke in the motor. I bought the truck for $300 American dollars. The complete steering system was shot. You almost had to turn the steering wheel a whole turn before it would respond. I drove that truck until it finally rusted so bad. It would pop out of gear on left turns because the cab mounts were shot. I will be looking forward to seeing the Charger 500's road test.

Last year I was out of work for 6 months, and really horse voice. Finally got better within the 2day weekend of 4th of July the year before. Go see a pulmonologist. They had to go up/down my nostrils to look at my vocal chords. Doing well after that. I'll be praying for you Nick!

Nick, hope you get well soon from this laryngitis. Now about Eugene's vehicle. It sounds to me like there's a problem with the firing order. If that isn't the case then check to make sure the distributor is aligned @TDC with the Number 1 cylinder.

That Vega will out pull most other V8 cars on this channel.

Eugene, the paint is as flat as glass, those are some huge panels and Roger has them laser strait, the hood looks wet as well, love the painted wheels with the chrome lug nuts and red walls. The stance is perfect, and it sounds like a race car, absolutely outstanding Nick, that black 500 stripe looks awesome on that color combo, what a beauty.

Nick, a nip of Wild Turkey bourbon whiskey in the morning and one at bed time kept my ol' buddy alive and healthy until he turned 101. Also a teaspoon of raw honey will stop that scratchy throat.

I think back to the time when I helped Jim put a wood farm bed on his Dodge. I think his was one of the first of this truck's style. The front grill was a panel of one piece. I like the wood look! Neat, neat truck! Good looking Charger! Oh my, that trailer,... neat, neat, neat.

You’re a hard worker like myself but from the bottom of my heart, you need to start taking some time for yourself and relax a little. You looked really tired and burnt out in this video and I don’t want to see anything happening to you. My uncle had a 74 Dodge PU with a 318. He drove it for 20 years as his daily driver since new.
