WOW !!! I'm in southern Louisiana and in the 80's all my neighbors would talk crap about Ford vs Chevy . I had a neighbor teaching me home repairs also taught me about MOPAR ! He thought it was hilarious because where he was from Ford and Chevy took a back seat . Mopar apparently had the most user friendly parts that would transfer across models . I miss that guy big time . Thanks for all of your hard work and bringing back many fond memories !!!

This guy saved this car because he loved it. No better type of collector in my eyes. In the 90’s, if you would have said these Corrobets would bring over $100,000 people would have laughed at you. Very few Coronets got saved from the crusher. A very rare, beauty! Thx Lou!

A piece of trivia for anyone interested. My father worked at Lynch Road Assembly in Detroit Michigan 44 years. As courtesy to employees Plymouth would allo,w the employee who bought a car or a family member who bought a car, follow the building and assembly of the car as it went down the assembly line. My brother bought a 1967 GTX 440 Magnum 4 speed bucket seats triple black W/vinyl top. My father followed the complete assembly of my brothers car from start to finish making sure everything was perfect and my dad drove it off the assembly line.

A-12'S rule , came $500 short in 87 for a Hemi orange A-12 Bee 4406v 4spd, original paint, 50,000miles, black buckets, good headers , better ignition, battery moved to the trunk, pair of slicks on steels in the trunk, time slips @11.5 @115-118 avg.......grrrrr....anyways nothing 'just' about a 383 4spd RR, wonderful engines, maybe not the hottest set-up for the1/4 mile but with a 3:23 suregrip , decent tires they are great highway cars....had a 69 VIP triple black 2dr, pretty rough, got it cheap, had the 330hp 383, blasted down tp Fla. a couple of times, haulin' it there and back, never missed a beat, pull to 75mph in 2nd, 3rd easy to 130mph....good times

@@1575murray It's unfortunate. The companies that have bought Chrysler over the years don't have the heart for the organization like the loyal American consumers do. But then if Chrysler really cared for their loyal following they would've paid more attention to rust-proofing as well as fit and finish on the assembly line. Chrysler took stellar R&D and unequalled engineering and ruined it with sloppy execution.

Value, schmalue I'd be thrashing this bad boy at the track every nice weekend. These were made to be driven, hard. Why else put the Hemi in it? I admire the care he has given this car but I'm just not that disciplined. If you want an investment, by a stock. Enjoy the car and do with it what it was made to do. Naturally, it is the owner's decision but in my mind, these are not Dalton ceramics, they are cars, designed and built to be driven. I thank you both for bringing us this time capsule, it is magnificent. Put a line lock on it and whoa baby, giddy-up one-quarter mile at a time. Hey boys, it's a Hemi!!
