1969 Dodge Super Bee in F8 Green with a 426 Hemi Engine & Ride on My Car Story with Lou Costabile 

Pristine and super rare car and yet the owner does burnouts. Gotta love this guy!!!

These beautiful Dodge Coronet’s were under appreciated (when compared to Chargers, Roadrunners ect) for a long time; not anymore. I always love them with the double scoops upfront….and with that big Hemi up front, Wee-Haw, that’s a lot of fun. Great car Lou!

I own a Pontiac now but B-Body MoPars deserve large credit for cementing the muscle car legacy. Chrysler pushed the boundaries hard with drive trains, styling cues, and messaging. This quintessential beauty is a prime example. It brings back so many memories of a great era for cars. Thanks Lou!

I'm proud of Tony too. Liked how he was so happy. Was funny how he kept repeating what you said at the beginning. Was nothing to argue about, so why not lol. Beautiful car. Reminds me of the car my much older cousin owned and I got to ride in as a kid in early 70s. Was not a Super Bee, but was almost identical otherwise. Same color, but I don't remember it being as shiny. Only reason I got to ride in it was because my father was drooling over it and my cousin asked if we wanted to go for a ride. Good times.

Ok, you outdid yourself with this one, Lou. A Mopar dealership was a couple of blocks from our house for a few years that we had to go through to get to school. They had Dodge Chargers and Super Bees to see! That was an era!

I'm usually a Plymouth guy but the Dodge Super Bee has always been my favorite muscle car. My Uncle had a B5 Blue 69 Cornet R/T 440 automatic when I was little and I think that's what got me into mopars. That's probably a really rare car there. Don't see many Super Bees let alone one with a Hemi.

Boy what a outstanding unit this is! My Tony did a outstanding job on his restoration of this unit. I love the color and I so remember that color from back then. I had a neighbor growing up as a kid that had one in this color a Super Bee. He had a Magnum engine in his a 383 it was. Just a great video and such detail on his unit. Even though the Super Bee was the poverty pack between it & the Coronet R/T, the Super Bee in your video has all the bling which makes it special. Dual Mirrors Centre Console Bucket Seats Tic Tock Dash And of course THE HEMI. Like Tony I just got to have it, no one is going to argue with you when you have a Hemi. Hey Lou! Another wonderful car to preserve for video history. You always make great choices! My brief history with a car like this - same colour, motor, but a black interior. I had moved from the Toronto area to Calgary, in western Canada, in 1979. In 81, a buddy from my area who was also living in Calgary, had his 69 Super bee, shipped via train, to him. It was already in need of restoration and he was the second owner. A three year nut and bolt restore took place. I was the first passenger in Jim Hubick’s restored muscle car! A “My buddies car story” from 1984! Peace PS - I’m saving the Monkee’s GTO vid for latter - want to savour it! I was born in 58, so by 66 I was already a “Tiger Beat” subscriber! lol Music became my life, and the only thing I like second to vintage guitars, are vintage cars!

Looks like the exact car I got in the summer of 76. It's one I should have kept but I did manage to find a super nice 68 coronet 500 383 4spd basically the same car. I won't let this one go.

I said this before this is the exact car my brother was trying to buy in 1974 from our neighbor and some kid who didnt love cars bought it to street race. He owned it 23 hours and crashed it after drinking all night and crashed killing his friend and he walked away. My neighbors brother bought the twisted mess back from the insurance company for 500 bucks to get the engine and tranny and dana back scraping the body. The only difference was it was a 4 speed car.
