Awesome old cornbinder. Having two of them my self in not sure about the 65-70 mph. Mine is only good for about 55 mph tops.

I was at A auction in Ohio 3 years ago. A ex fire truck with 22k miles just like this , But they put A dump box on it with stainless steel tool boxes under it. It had A original big bumper with A PTO wintch. Rust free. Sold for 340.00. Yep no bull shit. 340.00. I went up to pay thought it would go for A lot. Nope. Guy had 5 other old IH big trucks all went for nothing. Been mad ever since

The Corn Binder trucks had one hell of an Engine in them. The body, can't say much good about it! But when they came out with the real Fire Truck, they were great! but the Pickup, egh....

With a "GRANNY" first you start off in 2nd gear. My late dads 78 150 was like that.

That one may be heavy enough that you can't always start out in 2nd. Still, generally all you need to do is get the wheels rolling and then shift to 2nd.

My dad says he owned a International truck he loved it but when in the Army it got sold my grandfather hw really would like to have still have it or International would make pickuptrucks agin but now they only make big rigs , buses, fire trucks, ambulance, and other big vehicles
