That seat does not look original. Every original Ive seen including mine had black piping?

I brought one of those home with me aboard the Kitty Hawk in 1971. Wish I had never sold it. I however, was young and stupid back then.

I owned this same bike. Scary fast!

From the sound of the start-up ALL 60 horses are in there. 12.7 sec standing quarter if you can keep the front down sufficiently under first gear WOT.

The seat is terrible😩

I had the exact model in 1971 reg FCH911J. Best time of my life riding around the countryside around Derby. Missed greatly.

HD cameras in 71, no way. What agreat restoration. I had H1D 1973 model (import) restored it in 81 and sold it aghhh. The noise pollution police have got you marked.

that is one sweet looking 500 i was thinking if you don't have the stock cdi box one from an arctic cat zrt would have the tune the stock cdi box had.
