Good to hear the old girl running. Reminds me of when my Grandfather had a 1959 Super Rocket. I'd ride pillion. Hearing the sucking noise on the compression stroke on that A10 650 cannot be matched. Then hearing the twin spark into life. Brings back memories. Great video!!!
Beautiful bike . My mate had the exact-same bike, in similar condition . I had a 79 t140 US-export-model, imported from there to NZ . His one gave so-much-trouble (someone hated the Queen ) , it never went-right even after Triumph-guru's sorted-it . Mine never missed-a-beat or dropped-oil (mildest of weeping from cam/rocker-box) and was much-faster than his . When you get a good-one , pays to keep it ! Dave nz
My W650-clutch doesn't engage til it's well-out on the-lever like yours , everything good , all adjusted-right etc, PIA ! Nothing like 'Air-Therapy' on a nice-sounding-bike eh ? Is this the same bike as the black-one in your other vid ? Black and Gold is the Best-combination , looks stunning Dave nz
That bike is in fantastic condition . What a great restoration ! I've always been a four stroke fan and I was when these came out but I had a sneaking admiration for these and the Yamaha LC . My only criticism of the ,X7 was that it was a little lightly built but then I suppose that's where part of its great performance came from . Otherwise , they got it just right . Last in the long line of Suzuki 2 stroke air cooled 250s . ☺
The best time in my life with motorcycle. 51 years ago and many other cycles there after.. 69 years old today and riding yamaha fz1S. MC is nu life. Billy
