This car is a prime candidate to do a driving video with a mic at the tail pipes. As a teenager in 71 I always loved the exhaust note these cars give when shifting.
Thanks for all the great pics you posted on Bring a Trailer! Helps with my project TR6. For you TR6 fans. Any bid over 50k will make you the current high bidder on this amazing Triumph.
Worked at Standard Triumph 60 70 80 worked on TR FROM TR3 onwards and all the other models Stag etc a great job one big happy Family 🇬🇧 would go back tomorrow 😘
I have a '72 in the same color Safron. Mines mostly original never restored. Something about that color didn't rust as readily as all the other colors did. Very rare to see one in that nice a condition
My first car in 1982 was a red ‘69 with wire wheels. My second car was a white ‘74. As fun as they were either of them would have cost me more than your $67.5k to keep running over the ensuing four decades. This is a beautiful example, but I wouldn’t trade my ‘69 280sl for her. That Benz is the car this one aspired to be. Cheers!
I drove and rode from Chicago to St Paul and then to Boulder Colorado in my college roommate's one quite comfortably and I'm 6'0". Of course I was 19 and probably weighed 140 lbs back then.
Beautiful car. It appears someone added some addition tail lights along the way. Gutsy driving on 50 year old tires. Good thing staying on surface streets.
