I have been looking at one at harbor freight i like... Just saving up some money... The paint laid out nice it just don't match as well as i was hoping... I tried to wet sand some to get the black to come through and match some but hasn't yet. I am going to have to get creative to make look good
The patches are i believe... And only thing i know is different on the whole 1/4 is at some point they went from the outside gas cap to a gas door... I forget exactly, somewhere aroung 76 to 79
@@workingmansrestorations7071 I appreciate it.. I have a 75 blazer project. Took the top off and the entire quarter were the top sits is rusted out but I can not find the top patch panel replacement. I found a donor 90 k5.. I need to take some measurements and make 100% sure it fits. Thanks for the info
Man I wish I knew how to do this myself. Bought a 90, floor pans are lil rough fenders n rockers are bad, however the shop I took it too doesnt wanna mess w it. 😔 idk what to do
DJ Hochmuth lmc truck parts and brothers truck parts are HOT SPOTS for replacement skins and basically EVERYTHING you need for square obs gmc n chevys!!!!
Looking good. , I seen your other videos. Check out my 75 blazer, it’s getting build little by little. I’m doing my own work in my back yard too. I’m now working on the stereo wiring and rear speakers before I lay the new carpet. 👍
Looking good bro! I have the same 73 building now ,can you tell me what the colour code as I have the same one but my glove box is missing I can’t find the code . Thanks
The color code i used was 515... But didn't match too well... But I used Nasin brand and it says right on the door of the business they don't guarantee the match with that brand...
