in bay motor to where is conected the purple wire from de ac?? i tried to conect all well as possible but didnt know where goes that wire, hopeful if you help me

The cable cod be jammed. That is if its manual. Ones with Air Conditioning use vacuum to move the doors. Also often you could have a mouse nest in it jamming it up.

Your's may be aftermarket. I believe by 1977 there were only Factory Installed, not Dealer Installed anymore. But don't take that as fact.

The multivalve that works on vacuum can be bad. Or it's hooked up wrong under the hood and there is no vacuum.

Thank you man!!! I have a 1976 ford f250 with the exact same set up as yours. I need to replace my heater core because it's leaking very bad. I have the a.c evaporator too so how can I check to see if it's any good???

Pressure test it or charge the system with dye in it to find any leaks.
