I got my dad's old power king two years ago after he passed away. It's all torn apart he started restoring it about 20 years ago and didn't get it back together so I have a really complicated jigsaw puzzle because I am not sure if it's all there or not. But I will fully restore it and be proud to show it off!!

Thanks Taryl. I got My Moms Fathers 1970 Bolens 1256-02 running after sitting some 30 years. 1st Tractor I got to drive as a 10 year old. (have photo) I drove it around our Tractor Show this last Aug. Ebay to the Rescue for an almost pristine OE Seat and some Steering Wheels with no cracks, amongst some other parts missing off the Tractor that Grand dad took off to make an Orchard Tractor for tending 10 Acres of Tomatoes before He passed away. When I worked at a shop in the 70s and 80s, we had a few pieces of equipment that were always fun to work on and get to test out. Among them were the Power King tractors, a Swisher three-wheel riding mower, original Snappin' turtle mowers, and Homelite Super Wiz 66 saws. I miss those days, where my love for all things mechanical was being formed.

Many years ago I had an Ariens mower with 48" deck and one of those 14 HP Kohler motors. I used it on my dads 2 acre parcel for years and then my nephew took it to Maryland and used it for probably another 10 years. Those were GREAT Kohler engines.
