We were prepared for an easy LS motor swap on this 1976 Chevy C10. However it did not go as planned. We had broken bolts, poor fitment and a bent frame. the steering was bent up high and it ended up into the pan of the motor. this shot our plans for a quick swap and added a frame machine visit into the mix. I stripped down a 2004 chevy silverado for this donor. this short bed step side truck will be back again though. I think it's important to show failure and all of this is just another learning experience. be careful when you buy!
