Out of all of the GM B-bodies from this era, the Chevy with the quad rectangular headlamps had the most handsome face. Same with the Monte Carlo. Chevy was killin' it in '76.
Absolutely Georgious!!! Is that the 400 or 454?? Mine has the 400 which I just rebuilt!! Have the 76 also. It's my pride and joy and also a georgious dent and rust free beauti!! I have the bumper strips also, and the original air shocks. Mine is maroon with the red vinyl interior and has the third seat but I don't have the vinyl roof or the rear window defogger. Please keep this beauti garaged and protected as will I, because they won't pass this way again! Three cheers to your 76 Caprice Estate!! Thanks for the video!!!
My parents owned the same car in light olive green. The exterior color and interior plaid materials matched those of appliances and furniture coverings in the house Lol!! Great car... Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
You may have had the 75 because the light olive green wasn't available in 76 (that light olive green was one of my favorite colors in 74 and 75. In 76 they changed it to a horrible ugly Lime green... terrible, but they also had the dark hunter or emerald green which was nice. I have the 76 in maroon with the wood which was standard on the caprice estate from 71 to 76 but not even available on the very similar Impala wagon. My friends dad bought a fully loaded Impala wagon because he did not want the wood.. Great car(s)

She's a beautiful wagon, my dad had a couple of these clamshell chevy wagons and a 74 dodge wagon with woodgrain and a 72 Ford country squire with woodgrain they were all awesome but if I could have one of then now it would be their 73 chevy Kingswood wagon

I wonder if this originally had a vinyl top as the trim pieces, especially at the bottom of the C pillar, make it look like it did at one time. Also the paint finish is dull compared to the body. Nice wagon!
I'm not sure that I've ever seen a wagon with a vinyl top. It seems even odder combined with the woodgrain panelling. Nevertheless, it is a beauty and quite the time capsule.
I like that wagon,, a red one the best co,or to have in a wagon...i've several chevrolets my wagon 1972 kingswood.my sedans 1973 caprice 1976 new caprice 2300 miles.i never drive it .. The wagon needs the billet grile the Hella halogen glass headlights the 1157 switchback front turn indicator bulbs, makes for nice modern updates.the red kote the inside of the fuel tank and never run ethanol thru that carberator , eats fuel pump in months time.boat marinas sell non ethanol 87 ocatian here in alabama.
