I myself own a 78 I’ve had as a project for the last few years and it’s a wicked truck, love the body style it’s a shame they ditched it for the goofy 3rd gens
Very cool drive along! This is the first I've heard of the Marti Report. What a cool resource for those that need to figure out the providence of their vehicle.
Dang Blue Ridge Mts., You're in my neighborhood, beautiful truck, reminds me of riding in my dads 78 f-100 custom growing up in the late 80s. He bought it new for $2300
I have a 78 bronco ranger xlt and it’s a complete heap of shit compared to this. I put about 10k into it around 2016 and life stuff happened and I haven’t touched it since. I might actually just get after it now though seeing this beauty.
I’d say go with the 6.2 Raptor motor. Overall, you’ll get more speed out of a Coyote but the grunt and low end power of the 6.2 is just crazy in comparison. Can’t go wrong with either though.
@@TurningGuns No way. Why would I want that ? If I was going to consider a diesel then it would be a Mercedes diesel, not a tractor rattler. But a Bronco with a diesel is NOT my thing.
Retired ford tech here, my folks bought a 79 bronco with factory 8 track 351m gas eating brand new red with red interior and today it is still near immaculate with it's 3d owner as my dad sold it in 1985 and bought a 1985 bronco. I had and destroyed 2 second gens when i was in high school one was a factory manual trans. What these are bringing all torn apart i need to go back and woop my own ass for destroying those broncos. I'm an ls'ed to death i hate gm garbage working in ford dealers i replaced more engine and transmissions in gm garbage and all the low iq gm people act the same you put a chevy emblem on a pile on dog sh1t and dumb asses will buy it. But that garbage has made me tons of money. I never seen that color combo in a bronco, saw a few free wheelin packaged bronc's. I do have a 1979 indy pace truck all apart going to do the crown vic rack front, i'd like to do the coyote but have a 30,000 mile wrecked 32 valve 5.4 navigator donor.
