Now I understand the pink valve covers! However, having said that, I found images of this truck on Google images a year or two ago but could only find two. I looked for more but couldn’t find different angles because being a Ford man myself I wanted to use the different angles in my “Ford Only” screensaver! This is one really beautiful looking truck! I was never big on two-tone paint jobs but I like this one!
My dad has a 1979 F-100 Custom single cab short bed that is red, and man is a beautiful truck. I’m 19 and I wished that I could’ve bought a 1979 F-150 short bed back in 1979. That restoration looks amazing.
I think this was about the best looking Truck Ford ever made, This also goes or all other brands also. The running gear was nothing to be ashamed of either.
Wow, I had a 1977 F-150 4x4 short bed when I was 17yrs old, but all my life I've always dreamed of a truck like this one you finished. That is my dream truck for sure!!
Sir, ma'am, I understand the pink. The phenomenal truck build goes beyond reproach. But it is secondary. Ma'am, I trust you are continuing on in life as intended, healthy, vibrant. He needs you. Sir, an over the top proof of your love in action, not just words. Your skill set is professional. Thank you.
excellent restoration, of the best projects that I have been able to see in a f100 series 1973-1979, the best of all is that it was a project in pairs, blessings !!
Beautiful truck , I have a 79 F 150 XLT Ranger short bed ,I would like to restore it for my daughter , as long as she will let me drive it once in a while . LOL
Awesome work! and the color combo, fantastic. I have a 78 F250 2-tone green, trying to restore. It was good to see the firewall inside and out, bare-I have cowl leaks, and figuring it out.
I’ll be honest; I’m not a big Ford fan, but this is one of the nicest looking restorations I’ve ever seen. It looks fantastic! Very well done. I’d be fortunate to have a truck that nice one day 👍🏻
Ive been a huge fan of the 80-91 trucks, simply because I was born in 86, and they've always been a part of my life. When I came of age, they were cheap to buy and fix up. I still have 4 of them. However, trying to add a 78-79 to the lineup next. Ive got a 72 International. Might sell it to fund a 78 build.
Me gustó mucho el color de la pintura y los detalles en las tapas de las punterías!! Un excelente trabajo de Restauración y las personalizaciones que le hicieron son de lo mejor!! Disculpen mi poco inglés... Good Bless to this beaty family and god bless your future proyects😻😻😃😃😃🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋
Nice truck! Im restoring my 1978 F100 Lariat just like yours with two colors. It takes time, money and more time end money.greetings from Houston Texas.
I know I'm year late on leaving a comment, but this was by far the best looking trucks ever built, I've owned.... well I've lost count, and now looking to buy another one. 👍👍
Wow! Absolutely beautiful.........Was lucky enough to find my son a 1988 4×4 in great condition-not excellent but, very nice ! He absolutely loves it! Back quarter panel has some rust on the bottom about the size of a baseball. He says he is going to fix it himself.
Amazing!!!! U do great work. I have the opportunity to buy an 81 F150 Ranger XLT 4x4. 55K miles on it and has been parked for 15yrs. Owner did start it for the first 5-7yrs that it was parked. I will b the 3rd owner if i get it. It does come with an xtra 82 cab AND bed. The bad...all three have been OUTSIDE. I will be laying eyes on it for the first time in Sept. Mechanically, im solid, but i have no paint n body skills. I hope the rust isnt too awful bad.
My first P/U was a 1970 Ford F-100 with a 390, 4 speed, with a 780 Holley on a med rise alum. intake and 3/4 Isky race cam. It had factory headers and big 2/1/2 inch dual pipes. It played a very sweet sound. That was the only 2nd hand truck I ever had. I bought a 1980 F-150 with a 460 and 4 speed, a 84 F-150 Lariat, a 88 F-150 with just about everything you could have in a truck with an in line 300 six and 5 speed on the floor, that went to my son when he turned 16. I bought another 1992 F-150 Lariat for myself and two more after that. The last two trucks I never cared too much for because they started turning more into pick up trucks that were car-like and have lost their mystique as trucks. What they make now are more throw away items than anything else. Whoever heard of an aluminum bed in a pick up truck. Blasphemy!
Damn I like this truck a lot! I’m not crazy about two tones but it looks good on this truck and with those newer style wheels it’s a perfect combination of old and new!
Looks like my 78 except the panels were silver. 4 wheel drive, automatic, with the 351 Cleveland. One of the best trucks I've owned and I've owned a bunch of them.
What an amazing transformation. The body work was spot on, and that green candy apple paint is perfect against the, I am thinking, beige paint? My late father had a similar black and red F-150. Trophy was well deserved. Congrats 👏👏👏!
Uncle had a 77-78 same color except the gold was a folding with blue water effect done by the best painter here in our area custom shop. Same green . But I wouldn't call this a resto-mod. Yours is a restoration.
No hacia falta poner que eras Argentino, tu nombre no lo puede ser mas, jajaja te lo digo con respeto, los laburantes Italianos hicieron un gran pais de Argentina, lastima que despues otros lo arruinaron. Saludos!
I just bought a '78 F-150 351 big block swap (small to big block), it dosen't run at the moment, the engine is seized and it also needs converted from 78 to 81 (the big block is from an 81 F-150) the transmission was also swapped out from the 81 to the 78 and the front end needs put back together and the exhaust dosen't fit the manifolds on the big block and the 81 that he has, had no exhaust so I may be running it open headers for a while, it is red with an flatbed, 4X4. I want to put rims on it that are like the one in this video and paint it brown and put a box and a roll bar on it.
Love the truck. I have a 78 ford f150 custom that I would love to look like yours. I like the beat up look but after seeing yours its beautiful. I was wondering the time it took for the restoration?
