Pastorini had one of his best games as a pro...with cracked ribs, bad elbow, and Miami coming hard at him. Maybe he wasn't a HOFer, but he was one tough dude. Bum should never traded him.

Oilers first ever NFL playoff appearance

My uncle pointed out during this game that Griese looked as if he was in pain everytime he raised his arm to throw. Having never seen Houston even in a playoff game before, much less win one, the outcome was WTF to me, as Miami was a Seventies powerhouse. In retrospect it shouldn't have seemed like a huge upset, as these were not the SB winning Dolphins anymore, even with some remaining players.

Griese looked ridiculous with those glasses on. But I suppose by that point in his career the element of cool was a back burner consideration.
