I had a 79 exactly like this one same car!! I bought it in 1983 and kept it till 1989 when my Father got sick I had to sell it. It made 2 trips to California from VA and was a daily driver. Always felt "special" driving it though!!

My folks had a 77 too, it was light blue with blue interior. Although I was a younger teen boy back then, I can still remember that car as if it was yesterday. Very comfortable - like riding on a cloud.

Whoever the first owner was, didn't get to appreciate it much, other than looking at it in the garage. I know as I'm one of those guys. People at Shows ask me if I've ever enjoyed it? Well it's a different ownership experience than when you have a daily driver.

Only wish I was in the market to buy because this 79 Cadillac car would be in my garage in a heartbeat! This Coupe De Ville reminds of a time before GM decided to con us into believing 2 door coupes where the kiss of death for Cadillac motorcar division.

Get in the market, I have 2; a coupe and a sedan, and its soooooo worth it. Can find them in good shape in private sales & get better deals than here. $3,500 total for both in running & driving condition I'd proudly take to any car show.

Now THAT'S when (even from a distance) you KNEW that you were seeing a Cadillac. Nowadays you can't tell whether it's a Cadillac or a Honda until you see the Cadillac badge slapped on the grille. So sad...

I bought the 77 Coupe I drive BECAUSE of the CB radio! Breaker...Breaker..rubber duck. And the Soveriegn Gold paint. I would rather have this 79 than anything being sold today.

Cadillac would make THIS CAR until 1992 at least as a 4 door. But while I LIKE the look of the four door in the 1980+ models, the 1977-79 Coupes were the best It's been as a two door, EVER, MY idea of a "resto-mod" would be of a '77 (I love THOSE -single year- taillights!!!) with a later Brougham interior (and dash).

Wow the old school classic car market is getting hella expensive Big money Remember back in 2011 (not that long ago) when low miles 79 Phaetons used to sell for 16k
