My mom bought a new 1979 coupe de ville in 1979 it was black with red interior it is a beautiful car when I turned 16 years old in 85 she gave me the car and I still have today I had it fully restored to the original condition
The driving footage is what i wanna see in these. I already have a '79 Coupe DeVille (and a '77 Sedan DeVille) but I still like to see how I look coming down the road or heading away while driving this one. Its all about road presence, and these cars have it in spades. For the buyers, they don't have any other way of seeing. Its good that you indclude it, though it could be a longer segment...I hear youtube's algorithm still has a thing for 10 minute videos anyways *wink wink nudge nudge*
Cheap Interior. The Fiance had a 79 Sedan DeVille, hers had the De' Elegance Trim, much nicer Seats and Interior Trim. My 86 FWB also had the De' Elegance Trim, but the Seats weren't as nice as the Earlier yrs
Beautiful. You left trunk ornament cockeyed. They should've had a timed release to revert back to correct position. That way people wouldn't embarrass themselves driving off like you did.
Correct, my first car was a '79 Coupe 'de Ville and it had a 425 CID, I tore it up and paid $2375 in 1997 to have it rebuilt, the mechanic ended up boring it out .30 over. I could take Camaros from a green light, she was mean. I'd step on the gas pedal and the whole car would rock/rotate to the right, torque.
